Vampire Facial
Services | Face
Vampire facial is a cosmetic treatment that involves extracting a patient’s blood and using it to rejuvenate their skin. The procedure is also known as Platelet and or Plasma therapy (Microneedling).
During a vampire facial, a medical professional draws a small amount of the patient’s blood, typically from their arm, and then uses a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the rest of the blood. The platelets are then re-injected into the patient’s face using a microneedling technique.
Platelets contain growth factors and proteins that are thought to promote healing and regeneration in the body, including the skin. When the platelets are injected into the face, they are believed to:
- Stimulate collagen production
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Improve skin texture and tone
- Reduce acne scars.
For best results 3-4 treatments are recommended 4-6 weeks apart.
Vampire facial is a non-surgical and relatively non-invasive procedure. However, like any medical procedure, it does carry some risks, such as infection or allergic reaction. It is important to consult with a qualified medical professional before undergoing any cosmetic treatment.
