Emsculpt is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses high intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to induce involuntary muscle contractions in targeted areas of the body, such as the abdomen, glutes and thighs. These contractions are more intense and frequent than those that can be achieved through exercise, which helps to build and tone muscles.
During an Emsculpt treatment, paddles or applicators are placed on the targeted area of the body. The applicators emit HIFEM energy that penetrates the skin and stimulates muscle contractions. The intensity of the contractions can be adjusted to accommodate different levels of fitness and comfort.
Emsculpt is FDA and health Canada approved and has been shown in clinical studies to be effective in building muscle and reducing fat in treated areas.
